I’m Uba Filiz Ogidi. I’m Nigerian and Turkish. I enjoy reading, writing, cooking, and above all, eating. I dabble in performance arts however, I’ve been informed I’m not as good as I think I am. My aim in life is to taste all flavors of ice-cream; however, my main aim is to impact the world through public speaking and Literature. I also aspire to be a CNN correspondent because I believe I have a face and voice for television. I’m also interested in world affairs. I’ve been a ghost writer for several blogs and I’ve managed to run one myself as of recent. I began writing professionally two years ago in order to acquire knowledge on the world of Literature and to promote myself in the process.

“I write because I read, I read because I write” I associate myself with this quote because I believe I grow with books, both mentally and emotionally. Nothing makes me happier than expressing myself through creative writing. Literature is life, and without it, I’m merely a nameless being floating through the sea of humanity.

I started this blog in order to become autonomous,. It is a platform for me to showcase my artistic talent, and as you’ve noticed, my humble personality. I write poems, short stories and occasionally, little bits of wisdom.
